Great dining experience from start to finish. Very easy to get reservation. Easy to get to and ample street parking. Welcomed and seated on arrival. Vibrant atmosphere. Very clean and well-run restaurant. Good looking specials, drinks, and wide menu selection. Ordered Wedge Salad and Petrale Sole. Presentation was fantastic. Taste was even better. Large portions. Good value for the price. I will return again.

Hm, I have mixed feelings about this place. Great place to grab lunch or brunch on the weekend if you're in town! Waitress was a little slow and unfriendly, but still tried to be attentive. Large portions for food - it was good, but not great, and definitely overpriced. Kids menu pizza is basically an adult sized pizza and the kids get nothing else - no veggie, fries, drink; just an adult sized pizza. We ordered two "kids" pizza, which they each did not finish. Atmosphere is open layout and loved the open pizza oven and open kitchen. Do not get the calamari - looked delicious from far, but far from delicious. Calamari was way too salty and almost inedible. We took one bite and left the rest. Again, food was okay, not great. No one was excited to greet customers walking in, but I liked the open layout.

I have always heard such amazing reviews about Paradiso! I am so happy I dined here last night with one of my close friend. We both decided to order their baked ravioli and seasonal squash ravioli. Oh boy both were so good! I'm still thinking about their squash ravioli. The sauce was tangy, velvety, and just so bomb! Ahhh so happy, I wait to come back soon! Our server Caroline was the sweetest person ever! She provided so many good recs and was on point with her service. When I come back I want Caroline has my server again! Such an amazing experience overall!

Great customer service, great quality food, what else can you ask for? My favorite is the clam chowder and linguine frutti di mare. Off menu they also serve a hearty Bloody Mary.

I love coming here and our daughter and son-in-law wanted to take us here for my belated Mother's Day dinner and we found a parking space right in front. We didn't have reservations and luckily on a Monday night, we were able to get a table for 4. We had the fried calamari and the portion was hearty and delicious, then each couple shared a mixed green salad. We ordered the beef shortribs which our son-in-law wolfed down, daughter had the linguine and clams, hubby had the petrale sole which was a bit on the salty side, and I ordered the fruitti de mare which was humongous but unfortunately had a bit too much white pepper. So we took it home and will add more linguine and sauce to dilute the kick to it. For dessert, we shared two scoops of delicious spumoni! Service was very attentive but maybe the petrale and fruitti de mare was a bit off tonight.

Great food, pasta was great. It's best to make reservations. It gets pretty hot in there so wear something light. There are mainly chairs only saw one booth side.

Cool old school vibe at this restaurant. Excellent service throughout our meal! Drinks were delicious and they have a good wine list. Food was good. Good flavors and generous portions. Had the shrimp appetizer and the ravioli for my main. Solid food, but wasn't completely blown away. Bread was a bit stale.

Paradiso is a go to spot for my family whenever we're celebrating special occasions. We've been here for everything - birthdays, graduations, etc. The restaurant is located on the corner of the main street. While they have a small lot, it's often full so we just end up parking in the neighborhood or in the nearby public parking lot by Safeway about a block away. There's lots of metered street parking around as well. The restaurant is bigger than it seems when you first walk in. I recommend making a reservation as their waiting area is small and fills up quickly. I love that they have an open kitchen so you can see them make your food. Service is always great here. The servers are always so patient and helpful, especially for our family who has specific dietary restrictions and allergies. They're always happy to accommodate and there's never any issue. Along with the main server, there's always a couple of other staff helping to pick up plates promptly, fill up waters, etc. The food is usually pretty good too! I usually go for the roasted chicken and it's always got great flavor. I've also gotten the ravioli before - definitely more heavy and filling but it's delicious. Most recently, I had the sausage pizza. Eh, good, not great. I'd prob skip that next time and go for the other dishes instead. Price wise, it's pretty as expected for a nice night out. You're looking at $30-50+ per person.

If I still had monthly meetings in San Leandro I would be a regular here. The food is great. The room is comfortable. Alas, I don't go to these meetings, now they are on Zoom. Dining here takes more planning. If you go I would advise that you make a reservation, it can get quite busy. As a side note parking is mostly in the surrounding neighborhood. In the past when I went with my sweetie we would order, Caesar salad, calamari, and cioppino. The portions were generous enough for us to share. I would love to order this meal again, however, it is too much for me to eat alone and these wonderful dishes don't taste as good to me the next day. I met my friend Pat for lunch recently. We shared the Caesar salad. We ordered different mains. I had Chicken Paradiso. I was hesitant to order this because it seems chicken breasts are usually overcooked. The dish consists of a breast, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes, basil cream sauce, mashed potatoes, and vegetables, just like everything I have ordered here the serving was generous. When I return, it will be difficult to decide whether to have this chicken dish or the cioppino. I will order the salad The cocktails were tasty.
